India’s smallholder farmers often face crop losses due to chewing pests and diseases. Affordable solutions are usually not very effective and have operator health risks. To address this, Bayer introduced Fenos QUICK, an effective, safe, and cost-effective solution for farmers.
Fenos QUICK insecticide is a combination of two powerful active ingredients: flubendiamide and deltamethrin. The dual combo effectively protects crops like chickpea and cucumber from various pests such as pod borer, fruit fly, and cucumber beetle. It is also safe to use for the operator’s health.
Fenos QUICK works through a mixture of two active ingredients: flubendiamide, representing a new class of chemical insecticides called diamides, and deltamethrin, an effective synthetic pyrethroid targeting the insect with two modes of action.
This powerful blend effectively controls pests like cucumber beetle and fruit fly in cucumber and pod borer in cucumber and provides complete crop protection.
With its two active components, Fenos QUICK effectively disrupts the nervous and muscular systems of insects. Flubendiamide’s unique mode of action involves activating ryanodine receptors, that prevents proper muscular function in insects.
The high lipophilicity of deltamethrin affects nerve transmission on contact or ingestion, modifying the function of the sodium canal and disrupting the nervous influx conduction. This interference in the nervous and muscular systems effectively controls pests and keeps them away from harming crops.
Some of the benefits include
Provides affordable modern pest management
Combines control and persistence at an economical cost.
Knocks down insect populations effectively, providing good crop health.
Better residual effect in comparison with traditional chemistry.
Relatively safe product and provides ease of application.
Its ideal chemistry makes it a perfect choice for routine pest control.
