Decis® 100 effectively targets a wide range of insect pests, including aphids, psylla, diptera, coleoptera, orthoptera, and numerous others. It safeguards crops like cotton, tea, rice, as well as vegetables such as tomato, chili, okra, and onion. Low doses of Decis® 100 are sufficient to ensure effective pest management while maintaining environmental safety.
Decis® 100 contains the active ingredient deltamethrin, belonging to the chemical class of synthetic pyrethroid insecticides. It is a non-systemic pesticide that acts by contact and ingestion, exhibiting a broad-spectrum control of chewing and sucking insects.
Since Decis® 100 is a contact, non-systemic insecticide, adequate spray volume is essential to ensure good coverage of target plants and insects.
Decis® 100, with its active ingredient deltamethrin, exhibits strong adherence to the insect cuticle owing to its high lipophilicity. Upon penetration into the insect’s body, it targets the nerve axon, disrupting nerve transmission.
By altering the kinetics of sodium channel function, it interferes with the conduction of nervous impulses, ultimately leading to insect mortality.

Deltamethrin is generally considered safe for use in agriculture when applied according to the recommended guidelines.
Both Decis® 100 and Decis ® 2.8 are insecticides by Bayer. Decis® 100 has a higher concentration of its active ingredient, deltamethrin. This makes it more effective at lower doses compared to Decis ® 2.8. Both protect crops from various kinds of pests while being environmentally safe.
Decis® 100 has a shelf life of about 2 years.
