Every farmer knows that good weed control results in higher harvests and better-quality produce, increasing farm income. Bayer’s Roundup is one of the most trusted and widely used herbicides in India to fight against difficult-to-kill weeds.
Roundup is a non-selective herbicide and is excellent for fallow land plantations and horticulture crops. Roundup contains glyphosate, which helps control different kinds of weeds effectively in tea plantations and is an excellent solution for non-cropped areas and as a rice pre-plant application. Roundup also helps crops by improving root development and soil aeration. It’s a safe choice for both operators and the environment.
Roundup is a broad-spectrum herbicide that provides a solution for a wide range of annual grass and broadleaf weeds in tea plantations, non-cropped areas, and rice pre-plant applications, including those resistant to conventional herbicides, without compromising crop safety.
It is absorbed through the leaves, translocate to the roots, and eliminates weeds from the roots. Roundup degrades quickly in soil and does not leach into water bodies
Roundup, a non-selective systemic herbicide, contains glyphosate as its active ingredient. When applied, it targets weed plants by blocking the action of an enzyme known as 5-enolpyruvylshikimate-3-phosphate synthase (EPSPS).
This enzyme is important for the synthesis of amino acids required for weed plant protein synthesis. Roundup interferes with the growth of weed plants by disrupting this mechanism, which ultimately results in their death.

Roundup, a glyphosate-based herbicide, can be mixed with other herbicides for better weed control in certain situations. However, it is important to evaluate the compatibility of the herbicides and their modes of action to avoid unwanted and unsuccessful outcomes.
Roundup and Round Speed both herbicides with the same active compound: glyphosate. However, Roundup Speed is a more active form of Roundup and contains a more concentrated formulation of glyphosate, which means that it requires a lower dosage to achieve the same level of weed control as Roundup.
