This is a stubborn and difficult-to-kill weed that grows in wheat crops, affecting the yield. Farmers spend a lot of money, effort, and time managing this weed. Many herbicides are ineffective, requiring repeated applications, which leads to the weeds developing herbicide resistance. To solve this issue, Bayer India developed Momiji herbicide. It is an innovative herbicide that provides exceptional weed control in wheat, soybean, and maize crops.
Momiji contains pyroxasulfone, a chemical that protects wheat, soybean, and maize crops against phalaris minor and other weeds. The herbicide can be easily applied using mechanical sprayers or drones, ensuring convenient and efficient weed management with excellent crop safety.
Momiji is a pre-emergent herbicide containing pyroxasulfone, classified as an isooxazoline. It helps in controlling weeds by disturbing their growth.
It is a user-friendly solution, requiring application within three days of sowing. It ensures effective suppression for up to 30-35 days into the crop’s life stage.
The Momiji herbicide contains pyroxasulfone, which disrupts the production of fatty acids in weeds. It specifically blocks multiple steps in their growth process, causing an accumulation of fatty acid precursors.
This disruption hampers the weed’s normal functioning, leading to its death.

Dose: 60g/acre. Take the measured quantity of Momiji 85 % WG herbicide and add to it a small quantity of water. Stir thoroughly using a stick or rod, and then add the remaining quantity of water. Agitate well to form the final spray solution.
