Aliette is a systemic fungicide that provides immunity against Oomycetes fungi, such as downy mildew diseases in grapes, damping off of young plants in cardamom and tomato, as well as azhukal disease in cardamom. Despite being widely utilized since 1978, there are no reported instances of fungi developing resistance to Aliette.
Aliette works like an immunity booster for plants, enhancing their internal defense mechanisms.
It contains fosetyl AI 80% WP, safeguarding the crop from within.
The fungicide quickly enters plants through their leaves or roots and moves both upward (acropetally) and downward (basipetally) within the plant. For grape plants, it’s best to spray Aliette before the disease starts to get the maximum benefits. In grapes, spray it when the crop reaches the 3 to 5 leaf stage after pruning.
For cardamom, apply the foliar spray when the disease is first noticed. When dealing with tomatoes, make the first application by drenching, seven days after the seedlings emerge, and then apply the second drenching 14 days (about two weeks) after the first one.
Some of the benefits include
Introduced in 1978, Aliette has a proven track record with no reported cases of fungal resistance development.
Effectively combats specific fungi harmful to plants, particularly those in the Phycomycetes family like Phytophthora, Pythium, Bremia, and Peronospora.
Operates systemically by rapid absorption through plant roots or leaves, distributing both upward and downward within the plant.
Good rainfastness ensures continued effectiveness even after rainfall.
Recommended for integrated resistance management, offering a reliable solution for plant protection against various fungi.
