The wheat crop is affected by many seed– and soil–borne diseases, like rachis in wheat, smut disease of wheat, and loose smut of wheat. These diseases decrease the number of healthy plants in a field. Bayer’s Raxil Easy is a modern seed treatment product that contains tebuconazole as an active ingredient. It controls loose smut at very low dosages and ensures protection for the crops with good quality and quantity of yield.
Raxil Easy works as a systemic fungicide. It is used as a seed treatment for crops like rice and wheat.
It helps in controlling plant diseases like loose smut disease in wheat, bakane/foot rot, and brown leaf spot in rice.
Raxil Easy contains a triazole based fungicide: tebuconazole, that acts as a demethylation inhibitor (DMI) of fungal sterol biosynthesis.
Due to its systemic properties, when tebuconazole is applied as a seed treatment, it controls pathogens that are present inside the seed as well as those adhering to its outer surface.
