Heavy and good-looking potatoes are important for potato farmers in India so that they can fetch a high price for their yield and earn more income. Bayer’s Emesto® Prime is a unique solution containing penflufen, developed to protect potatoes from black scurf and ensure they have clean, shining skin and are all the same size.
Emesto® Prime seed treatment contains penflufen, a powerful pyrazole fungicide. It is effective against a variety of potato-related diseases, particularly those caused by Rhizoctonia fungal species.
Notably, penflufen promotes robust seedling development, resulting in a healthy and productive potato crop. This advanced seed treatment provides complete disease and pest protection to potato farmers worldwide.
Emesto® Prime, through its active ingredient penflufen, kills fungi by inhibiting the enzyme succinate dehydrogenase. This enzyme is essential for their breathing process in the mitochondria.
Penflufen spreads evenly on potato tubers and the soil surrounding them, protecting young sprouts and growing tubers. It flows through the plant’s vessels, providing protection from the inside out, making it a robust solution for potato crops.
Some of the benefits include
Grows more and better crops with strong plants and high vitality for an increased yield.
