Farmers aim to maximize their crop yield and profits by ensuring abundant flowering and fruiting. Bayer Planofix® emerges as their trusted ally in achieving this goal.
Planofix® harnesses the potency of alpha-naphthyl acetic acid, a robust plant growth regulator renowned for its ability to induce flowering while preventing the premature shedding of flower buds and unripe fruits. By facilitating fruit enlargement and enhancing both the quantity and quality of yield, Planofix® significantly boosts crop productivity and profitability.
Planofix® is an aqueous solution containing alpha napthyl acetic acid as an active ingredient.
It reduces the shedding of bolls in cotton and flowers in vegetables, as well as increasing fruit size in pineapple and grapes by inhibiting ethylene production.
Through its active ingredient, Planofix® inhibits the natural production of ethylene gas in plants. Ethylene is a plant hormone important for the initiation of the abscission layer, a layer responsible for the shedding of flowers, buds, and unripe fruits.
By inhibiting ethylene production, Planofix® disrupts the formation of the abscission layer and prevents the natural process of shedding.
Some of the benefits include
Prevents natural shedding of squares, bolls in cotton, flowers in vegetables, chillies, and fruits like mangoes.
Reduces pre-harvest berry drop in grapes.
Increases fruit size in pineapple and grapes.
