Ethrel® is a multipurpose plant growth regulator that improves fruit colour and encourages uniform ripening in fruits such as tomato, mango, and pineapple.
It serves specific purposes, such as breaking alternate bearing in mangoes and defoliating pomegranates.
Acting as a systemic plant growth regulator, Ethrel® penetrates the plant tissues, undergoes translocation, and slowly decomposes into ethylene.
This ethylene production positively influences the growth process, contributing to improved fruit quality, ripening, and overall plant development.
