Sivanto Prime is a novel chemistry inspired by nature. It contains flupyradifurone, which plays a key role in pest control. When applied, it controls the pest very quickly and is safe for beneficial insects like ladybird beetle. It helps crops get rid of pest pressure, allowing them to grow greener and healthier.
Flupyradifurone, in Sivanto Prime, belongs to Bayer CropScience’s own chemical class of butenolides. It controls various kinds of sucking insect pests, including aphids, whiteflies, and thrips.
It activates the nicotinic acetylcholine receptor in the insect’s central nervous system. The active substance is absorbed by the leaf and moves in the direction of juice flow, enabling quick and effective control of sucking insects.
Sivanto Prime works in the central nervous system of the insect as an agonist of the nicotinic acetylcholine receptor (nAChR) of the insect. The active substance flupyradifurone mimics the natural neurotransmitter.
The long-lasting effect of the product results in a disorder of the nervous system of the insect and subsequent death.
