An exciting educational program for junior scientists: the Bayer Science & Education Foundation is awarding 25 scholarships this year for the Bayer Science Camp in Denver, United States. 10 scholarships are open to school students from Germany, five each to young people from the United States and India, and for the first time another five spots to youngsters from Africa.
“Through our Science Teens Program, we want to get talented junior scientists excited about medical advancements and network them internationally,” explains Thimo V. Schmitt-Lord, Executive Director of the Bayer Foundations.
The theme of the science camps is “Life Science and Medical Health Issues,” and will again be conducted this year in partnership with the prestigious STEM Harmony education center at the University of Colorado, United States. The young people will conduct research into scientific and medical health issues under professional conditions, exchange views with scientists and perform experiments in the mountains. The camp will take place from July 25 to August 8 in Denver, Colorado.
