Proagro® (Mustard)

Bayer is globally a market leader with approximately 50% market share in Brassica napus commonly known as Canola due to its strong technology platform. In Canada, Bayer has developed the high yielding Canola hybrids under the umbrella brand 'InVigor'. In India, Bayer is introducing high yielding and stress tolerant hybrids in Brassica juncea, which is predominantly grown in over 7 Mio Ha crop lands within the country. The Company offers improved varieties and composites in mustard along with high yielding hybrids and is planning to launch new traits in the near future.

Proagro Mustard Kesari 5111

Suitable for geographies: Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Bihar, West Bengal, Assam and Gujarat.

Segment & season: Early Duration 105-120 days, dark brown mustard, short height (140-160 cm).

Features: Early maturity, high yielding (10-12) q/acre, tolerance to white rust, high oil content (41-42%), widely adapted.

Proagro Mustard 5222

Suitable for geographies: Rajasthan, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand and Gujarat.

Segment & season: Medium duration 125-130 days, dark brown grain and medium in height (160-180 cm).

Features: High Yielding 12-15q/ac, long main shoot, attractive siliqua, oil content 41-42%, Bold grain size (TSW 5.5-6.0 g).

Proagro Mustard PA 5210

Suitable for geographies: Haryana, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Madhya Pradesh and Bihar.

Segment & season: Mid late duration of 130-135 days, dark brown grain, medium tall height (200-220 cm).

Features: High yield potential (13-15 q/ac), high level tolerance against white rust, medium bold uniform grains.

Suitable for geographies: Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, West Bengal, Assam and Jharkhand.

Segment & season: Early Duration 105-120 days, dark brown mustard, short height (140-160 cm).

Features: Early maturity, High Yielding (10-12 q/acre, Tolerance to White Rust, High Oil Content (41-42%), and Medium Bold Grains (4.5-5.5 TSW).
