Regent Gold

Regent Gold is a phenyl pyrazole insecticide for foliar application. Its foliar application is highly effective against Thrips on cotton at very low doses. It can control insects that have developed resistance to all other classes of insecticides.

MODE OF ACTION

Primarily acts as an ingestion toxicant with some complimentary contact action and acts by interfering in nerve impulse transmission. It interferes with the passage of chloride ions through the Gamma Amino Butyric Acid (GABA) regulated chloride channel, thereby disrupting CNS activity and at sufficient doses, causing insect death.

FEATURES

    • It minimizes the TSV(Tobacco Streak Virus) spread by controlling vector thrips on cotton
    • Not harmful to earthworms and soil microflora at recommended doses
    • It is highly compatible with other insecticides and fungicides.
    • It is an excellent thripicide and also show Plant Growth Enhancement (PGE) effects.
